Having lived in the Outer Sunset district for many years,  John (Owner of Papa Mak's) noticed that the neighborhood was missing a local burger spot. John grew up in the burger business, so he knew a thing or two about how to make delicious food. He knew he wanted to get back into the burger business and  decided to open Papa Mak's so the local community could have a place to come by and enjoy lunch or dinner with friends and family.
